Aquifer Storage & Recovery
The Vita H20 Project is an innovative water supply and storage project that will help fulfill the water needs of the growing population in northern Colorado. The Vita H20 Project will serve northern Colorado water only in times of drought; it will not replace our large surface supplies and will be another step forward to ensure the long-term future water security. Over the life of the project, the plan is to recharge in a greater amount than the amount pumped, allowing for sustainability and an effective drought tool for Colorado for more than 100 years. Also known as, Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR).

Project Sustainability
Clean water is essential—and sustainability is at the core of Vita H2O. Created by Front Range H2O, this project provides lasting infrastructure to meet the West’s growing water needs. With over 120 years of expertise, our team is focused on long-term, reliable water solutions for Northern Colorado and beyond.
Water Quality
Vita H2O is dedicated to providing safe, high-quality water to Northern Colorado. While uranium levels slightly exceed the primary standard, they’re easily treated to non-detectable levels using Ion Exchange. Fluoride levels are just above the secondary guideline, but this doesn’t affect water safety. With smart infrastructure and proven treatment methods, Vita H2O ensures clean, reliable water for growing communities.
